2Baba Expresses Gratitude After Annie’s Cryptic Karma Post

Zoyols News

Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2baba, recently took to social media to express a simple yet profound message: he is filled with nothing but gratitude. Sharing fresh photographs of himself online, the legendary singer kept his message brief, admitting he was at a loss for words while reflecting on his journey.

The timing of his post sparked immediate curiosity among followers, coming just hours after his former partner, Annie Macaulay, dropped a subtle message online. Sharing a clip of herself on a shopping trip, Annie noted that God remains protective over her affairs, adding a brief reference to karma.

Her recent posts follow a wave of online rumors suggesting the pair had rekindled their romance. The speculation gained traction after recycled footage made the rounds, portraying Annie talking about finding her way back to the music star. Both parties quickly put those rumors to rest.

In a public response, 2baba dismissed any claims of a reunion. Annie also addressed the situation on her social media, expressing frustration over outdated videos and false narratives circulating about her private life. She clarified that she is firmly single, living independently, and entirely devoted to raising her daughters and advancing her career.

The former couple officially parted ways early last year, ending a high-profile chapter that had long drawn public attention. Shortly after the separation, the singer began a new relationship with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

The pair tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in July 2025. The quiet event was attended by close family members, including the singer’s parents, who gathered to give the union their blessings. During the traditional rites, family elders offered prayers for stability and lasting peace in the couple’s new home.

By late last year, the newlyweds welcomed their first child together, keeping details about the newborn private. Early this year, family photos surfaced online showing 2baba, Natasha, and close relatives at a Catholic Church dedication service for the baby.

Despite the milestones, the singer’s personal life has remained under intense scrutiny. During a live concert performance late last year, 2baba paused to offer an emotional public apology, asking fans and well-wishers to forgive his past missteps and keep supporting his family.

Public interest reached a peak following reports of a heated altercation between the couple while traveling in the UK, which briefly landed the singer in police custody. The incident triggered widespread debate across social media platforms.

The narrative took another turn when a former associate of the singer, known as Kaka, granted a tell-all interview on a popular broadcast stream hosted by Freeze. During the session, the ex-staff member alleged that Natasha exercised excessive influence over the singer’s personal choices and career decisions.

Adding to the drama, 2baba unexpectedly joined the live broadcast himself to clear the air. However, an argument broke out in the background during the stream, forcing the music icon to disconnect abruptly and leaving fans with even more questions about the dynamics behind the scenes.

As reporting by Zoyols News continues to track these developments, the veteran artist seems intent on shifting his focus back to his music, choosing to respond to ongoing public chatter with quiet appreciation for his current path.
