Afrobeats superstar Davido has promised to make a guest appearance on *Off Air with Gbemi and Toolz* after linking up with the show’s hosts, media personalities Toolz and Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi, at an event.
The exciting moment was captured in a video shared by Gbemi on social media. During their interaction, Davido assured the duo that he would visit their show sometime in November or December.
Gbemi appeared eager to make the promise a reality, as she tagged the singer’s manager, Asa Asika, and called on him to ensure the proposed appearance was added to Davido’s schedule.
In her post, she wrote, “Off Air gang, did you hear that? Davido has promised to come to the Off Air Show this Nov/Dec. Oya, make sure you tag him so he can put it in his calendar! Asa Asika see o.”
The singer’s latest interaction has also brought attention to the admiration he continues to receive from personalities across Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Actor Zubby Michael has previously spoken warmly about Davido, recalling their first meeting and describing the singer as someone with a good heart. He also made it clear that his affection for the music star goes beyond his fame.
Earlier this year, actor Lateef Adedimeji also expressed his admiration for Davido after they met in Abuja. Sharing pictures from their meeting, Lateef explained that although they belong to different entertainment fields and come from different backgrounds, he has always respected the singer’s influence and musical talent.
