The launch of the Heliconia Park Port Harcourt Hotel & Resort has marked a significant milestone in the city’s hospitality landscape. According to Pasquale Fiore, CEO of Heliconia Park, the decision to invest in Port Harcourt is driven by the city’s vibrant energy, thriving commerce, and rich culture. For Fiore, Port Harcourt is more than just a destination – it’s a hub of excellence that warrants continued investment.
This latest development is a testament to the city’s growing appeal as a business and leisure hub. As Fiore notes, Heliconia Park was founded on the principle of true luxury, which is welcoming, personal, and tailored. The new resort embodies this spirit, offering a unique experience for guests.
Since its inception in 2022, Heliconia Park has made significant strides in Nigeria, starting with its first hotel in Port Harcourt and followed by the Lagos Luxury Apartments & Suites, officially inaugurated in February 2025. According to Mike Epelle, Director at Heliconia Park, the arrival of the hotel and golf resort is a welcome addition to Port Harcourt, elevating hospitality standards and contributing to local tourism and economic growth.
For Epelle, this investment reflects the city’s potential as a major business and leisure destination. As the city continues to grow and develop, investments like Heliconia Park’s are crucial in shaping its future and unlocking its full potential. With its commitment to excellence and culture, Heliconia Park is poised to play a significant role in Port Harcourt’s growth story.
