Nigeria international Calvin Bassey has taken centre stage in the unveiling of Fulham’s new away kit for the 2026 2027 season, joining several of his teammates to present the club’s latest adidas design.
The Super Eagles defender featured alongside Ryan Sessegnon, Rodrigo Muniz and Tom Cairney as Fulham officially launched the new strip on Monday.
Announcing the release, the Premier League club described the jersey as a fresh take on one of the most memorable away kits in its history.
According to Fulham, the new design revives the iconic black and red chequerboard pattern that became popular during the mid 1990s. The shirt also features the classic adidas Originals Trefoil logo, blending the club’s rich heritage with a modern appearance.
The club further revealed that the traditional FFC crest has returned to the kit, a badge closely associated with Fulham’s memorable run to the 1975 FA Cup final after appearing on several of the club’s jerseys during the 1970s.
To mark the launch, Fulham produced a promotional film narrated by actor and lifelong Fulham supporter Keith Allen. The campaign celebrates the dedication of the club’s travelling fans, highlighting the early mornings, long journeys and unwavering commitment shown by supporters who follow the team wherever it plays.
Bassey also features prominently in the campaign alongside teammates Tom Cairney, Ryan Sessegnon, Rodrigo Muniz, Stella Gandee Morgan, Olivia Dale and Anna Grey, reflecting the close connection between the club’s players and its fan base.
Completing the new away look are red pleated shorts and matching red socks, both carrying the heritage FFC crest and the adidas Trefoil logo, giving the entire kit a classic finish inspired by Fulham’s history.
