Ronaldo Opens New Season With Goal For Al-Nassr
Cristiano Ronaldo marked his first game of the new Saudi Pro League season with a goal as Al-Nassr beat Al-Riyadh 4-0 on Friday.
Coming off the bench in the second half, the captain made it four after Abdulelah Al-Amri and Angelo Gabriel had struck in the first half, and Joao Felix added a third shortly after the restart.
The 4-0 win gave Ange Postecoglou’s side a confident start to the campaign, with Ronaldo returning after Portugal’s run to the Round of 16 at the 2026 World Cup.
After the match, Ronaldo posted a photo of himself celebrating with teammates on X with the caption “Good to be back.”
The goal underlined his continued importance to the club as Al-Nassr aim to build on their recent success in the league.
