Nigerian music stars Adekunle Gold and Simi have marked another special milestone in their family life by dedicating their son to God during a church service.
A video circulating online and monitored by Zoyols News captured the couple on the church altar during the dedication. Although the footage was not very clear, it showed Simi lovingly holding their son while Adekunle Gold stood beside them as they took part in the ceremony.
The couple, who are known for keeping their private life away from the spotlight, welcomed their second child earlier this year. Simi shared the joyful news in March alongside beautiful maternity photos, expressing gratitude to God for blessing their family and happily announcing that she had become a mother of two.
Shortly after the announcement, speculation spread online that the couple had welcomed twins. However, Adekunle Gold dismissed the claims during an interview with Great Day Houston, explaining that the reports were false and confirming that they had welcomed a baby boy.
The singer has also had plenty to celebrate in recent months. In April, he treated himself to a brand new G Wagon worth millions of naira. A video that gained attention on social media showed him enjoying the luxury vehicle while receiving congratulations from a close friend.
Earlier in the year, Adekunle Gold made headlines when he surprised Simi on her 38th birthday with a brand new Mercedes Benz and a diamond ring. Sharing the memorable moment on her Instagram page, Simi described herself as feeling truly pampered and cherished.
His birthday message to his wife also warmed the hearts of fans. Adekunle Gold referred to Simi as his favourite person, his greatest inspiration and the place he calls home. He praised her for being a steady source of peace and strength throughout their journey together and said the world is better because of her.
The couple also celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary in January with heartfelt tributes to each other. Reflecting on their years together, Adekunle Gold said marrying his best friend remains the easiest and most rewarding decision he has ever made, adding that each passing year has brought greater happiness and peace.
Simi also shared an emotional message, saying that even after seven years, Adekunle Gold remains the love of her life. She thanked him for the joy, comfort and stability he brings into her world and affectionately described him as the husband of her youth while reaffirming her enduring love for him.
