She expressed this while condemning the backlash against actress Regina Daniels amidst serious r*pe allegations.
Tacha pointed out the disturbing trend where society reacts not with outrage or support, but with criticism aimed at Daniels for her lifestyle choices, including traveling and flying private jets. She highlighted a painful contradiction in the society a place where violence against women is rationalized, yet their independence is envied.
Addressing her audience on X, she wrote, “Being a woman in this part of the world feels like a crime. Someone cries out that she’s been r*ped, drugged, and beaten, and instead of outrage, society starts dragging her for flying private jets and traveling the world. So because she lived well, she deserves to be abused? That’s the sickness of this society, a place where people justify violence against women but envy their freedom.”
Reflecting on the impact of such societal attitudes, Tacha questioned what hope the girl child has in a world that often vilifies and neglects her plight, urging for protection and justice.
