Adeniyi Johnson had every reason to smile as he marked his birthday alongside his twins, turning the special day into a shared celebration.
The Nollywood actor posted a heartwarming photo of himself and the children on Instagram, keeping his message simple but deeply personal. He wished them a happy birthday and offered thanks to God for the gift of life. In his words, all he wanted was to say, “Thank you, Jesus.”
Friends and colleagues joined in the celebration under his post. Alesh Sanni sent warm wishes to the family, while Olayinka Solomon also celebrated them. Messages poured in from others including Debanke and Teddy A, who described him as a brother and wished the trio well.
The actor has never hidden how much the twins mean to him. Last year, he shared adorable photos of the three of them, declaring it their season of double honour and double increase. On the eve of this year’s celebration, he spoke with excitement, saying the date had to favour them as he once again gave thanks to God.
Zoyols recalls that in February 2023, after waiting for seven years, Johnson and his wife, Seyi Edun, welcomed their twins. When they later dedicated the children in church, the couple opened up about the challenges they faced during the waiting period. They revealed that they were mocked and even advised to seek help elsewhere, but they remained steadfast in their faith.
Not long ago, the actor also addressed a social media user who suggested he should conduct a DNA test on the twins. Johnson made it clear he saw no reason to do so, adding that even in the unlikely event that the results said otherwise, he would still raise the children as his own.
