2027: Aiyedatiwa to APC members: Stop anti-party work

Zoyols News
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has drawn a firm line for members of the All Progressives Congress, making it clear that any form of sabotage or anti-party activity ahead of the 2027 elections will attract severe consequences.
Speaking through the state party chairman, Babatunde Kolawole, during the formal inauguration of the Ondo State chapter of the City Boy Movement, the governor stressed that his administration is keeping a close watch on political loyalty. He warned that actions capable of dragging down the fortunes of the ruling party will not be condoned under any guise, urging faithful members to channel their energy into grassroots mobilization across all eighteen local government areas of the state.
The governor charged the newly inaugurated youth-focused group to take the message straight to the wards and polling units. He emphasized the necessity of rallying massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and securing victories for all party candidates vying for seats in the National Assembly and the State House of Assembly in the coming polls.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also took time to applaud the leadership of the movement, singling out its Grand Patron, Seyi Tinubu, for creating a viable platform that actively engages young people in mainstream politics.
Reacting to the marching orders, the state director of the movement, Oluwafemi Ayejusunle, revealed that the organization has already mapped out a strategy to deepen its roots from the state headquarters down to the grassroots level. He noted that the group has successfully stationed at least three trusted representatives per voting unit to drive their primary agenda, which is securing a resounding re-election victory for the president.
Ayejusunle added that their upcoming campaign trails will heavily target strategic demographics, including youths, women, market traders, academic campuses, and local communities, while simultaneously preaching the gospel of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
