Fifty Nigerian innovators will receive over ₦330 million in non-dilutive funding through the iDICE Startup Bridge Founders Lab programme.
The support comes from the Federal Government’s Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises initiative, implemented by the Bank of Industry. The 50 founders, drawn from across the six geopolitical zones, each secured ₦5.7 million after demonstrating strong progress through the hybrid learning programme.
Ten of the top performers received an extra ₦4.275 million each following a virtual demo day, bringing their total funding close to ₦10 million apiece. The funding is meant to help them validate ideas, build sustainable ventures, and access further opportunities in the ecosystem.
Bank of Industry Managing Director, Dr Olasupo Olusi, said the initiative shows the government’s commitment to backing Nigeria’s young builders. Founders Lab Head Cindy Ezerioha added that the programme equips idea-stage founders with practical skills and connections needed to grow their businesses.
