Hot Ticket Productions has officially revealed the cast of Secrets of the Multiverse, the eagerly awaited spinoff of the award-winning 2020 hit Lady Buckit & the Motley Mopsters.
Executive producer Blessing Amidu shared that the 13-part sci-fi adventure follows two children who accidentally slip into a multiverse, finding themselves in a dangerous realm where every choice could determine the survival of their world. “It’s a realm of peril that tests their courage, their morality, and their very will to survive,” Amidu explained. “They must prevent an extinction-level event that threatens everything they hold dear.”
Nollywood star Adesua Etomi headlines the cast as Iyabo, leading the charge through this thrilling universe. Jessica Edwards returns from the original film, taking on a challenging dual role as both hero and villain, showcasing a depth that promises to captivate audiences.
The ensemble also features Akorede Bobo, Korede Lawal, Fiyin Asenuga, Maryam Ibrahim Yarkasa, and screenwriter Emmanuella Amidu, each bringing their own energy and nuance to the project. Technical direction comes from Adebisi Adetayo of 32ad Animation Studio, reuniting with Amidu after their successful collaboration on Lady Buckit & the Motley Mopsters.
Production is already underway, with plans to launch the series on major streaming platforms, expanding the imaginative world that fans fell in love with and setting the stage for a multiverse full of suspense, adventure, and unexpected twists.
