Adewale Adeleke, the elder brother of music sensation Davido, has stepped forward to defend Priscilla Ojo after a social media user attempted to dampen the couple’s anniversary celebration. The drama unfolded after Tanzanian singer Juma Jux treated Priscilla to a lavish shopping spree in Dubai to mark their latest milestone together.
The couple, who are currently enjoying a romantic getaway, shared a video documenting their visit to a Bvlgari boutique where Juma purchased Priscilla’s dream luxury watch. The grand gesture came shortly after a skeptic publicly questioned whether Juma would actually gift his wife anything significant or take her on a trip for their anniversary.
Adewale Adeleke was quick to applaud Juma’s generosity, simply commenting, “Well done.” However, he didn’t stop there. Clearly frustrated by the negativity directed at the couple, he took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to call out the woman who had been trolling Priscilla’s private messages. Adewale didn’t hold back, expressing his hope that those trying to sour the couple’s joy would face their own consequences.
This high-end gift is just the latest in a long string of grand romantic gestures from Juma Jux. Since they went public, the Tanzanian star has consistently spoiled Priscilla. For their first anniversary, he organized a breathtaking private boat cruise, which Priscilla described as a year filled with laughter and adventure. When she gave birth to their son, Prince Raheem Ayomide Mkambala, last August, Juma presented her with bundles of cash as a “push gift.” He even surprised her with a brand-new Range Rover on their wedding day, a moment that moved the daughter of Iyabo Ojo to tears of joy.
The couple’s journey has been nothing short of a fairy tale, beginning with their lavish six-part wedding ceremonies held across Tanzania and Nigeria between February and May. In a recent interview, Priscilla reflected on their relationship, sharing that they first met during a work trip to Rwanda. She also touched on their age gap, dismissively noting that for them, age is nothing but a number compared to the deep connection they share.
Despite the occasional online critic, it appears the bond between Priscilla and Juma remains stronger than ever, backed by a supportive family network that isn’t afraid to speak up when necessary.
