Organisers of the Africa Social Impact Summit have established the Africa Social Impact Network, a pan African platform aimed at extending the impact of the annual summit through year round partnerships, funding opportunities, knowledge sharing and development initiatives across the continent.
The new network was announced following the conclusion of the fifth Africa Social Impact Summit, ASIS 2026, recently held in Lagos under the theme, “Financing for Development: Building Resilience and Transforming Emerging Economies.”
The summit brought together representatives of governments, development organisations, businesses, investors, philanthropic institutions, academia and civil society to discuss Africa’s development challenges and explore practical partnerships around key priorities.
According to the organisers, the creation of ASIN represents a new chapter in the development of the Africa Social Impact Summit, which has grown over the past five years into an important platform for collaboration among stakeholders working on sustainable development and economic transformation.
The network is expected to provide a permanent space for policy discussions, mobilisation of local and international capital, strategic partnerships, innovation and research.
It will also support the development and implementation of initiatives designed to deliver measurable impact across different parts of Africa.
The organisers said the platform would help sustain the relationships and ideas generated through the annual summit while creating more opportunities for stakeholders to work together throughout the year.
