Liverpool play on Saturday at 12:30 pm when they host Nottingham Forest. The Reds needed a late penalty to salvage a 2-2 draw with Newcastle last weekend, while Forest will seek a response after a 1-0 loss to Leeds.
At 3:00 pm, Bournemouth host Everton. Bournemouth ran Manchester City close despite the defeat, while Everton beat Palace with little fuss.
Tottenham welcome Newcastle at 5:30 pm in one of the weekend’s biggest games. Spurs will look to recover from a 3-0 loss to Brentford, and Newcastle arrive after holding Liverpool to 2-2.
Sunday starts with Chelsea against Brighton at 2:00 pm. Chelsea edged Fulham 3-2 in an open first match, while Brighton made the loudest statement of the opening round with a 4-0 win over Aston Villa.
