Biodun Okeowo: “Too Pretty to Stress”

zoyols

Nollywood star Biodun Okeowo is reminding everyone why she refuses to let negativity get to her, just hours after clarifying her relationship with fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin. On Instagram, Biodun made it clear that she and Lizzy have never been friends, calling out claims that her children are from different fathers as false narratives spread under the guise of “fighting for her.”

Sharing a video of herself getting her makeup done, Biodun declared she’s far too beautiful to let stress weigh her down. She emphasized that God’s favor and mercy aren’t determined by people—they’re appointed by Him. “What God has blessed and approved, no one can disapprove,” she said, exuding confidence and grace.

The actress has been vocal about challenges within the industry. Last month, she criticized colleagues who appear in movies but fail to support the producers during promotion. She also called out peers who are stingy with encouragement, questioning whether only tragedy prompts their attention.

Okeowo has lamented how quickly people post condolences rather than celebrate achievements, referencing the death of actor Allwell Ademola. She urged that the spotlight shouldn’t only be on mourning but on celebrating life while it lasts, underscoring her message of positivity and resilience.

Her message is clear: she will not allow gossip or industry politics to steal her peace or dim her shine.
