Nollywood star Bolanle Ninalowo recently shared a touching exchange with his son, capturing the emotional weight of their time apart. His son admitted that being away from his father sometimes hit him hard. “I try not to think about it too much, but it does hit me sometimes being away from you,” he wrote.
Responding with reassurance and love, Ninalowo promised that their separation would soon end. “18 in a few months, then it’s over! Ama be here, son! Ama always be here!! The career and all that ain’t going nowhere! I built that, ama build much more. God is king. Maka,” he replied, emphasizing his constant presence and support.
The actor also shared a playful conversation with his daughter, who called him both ‘father’ and ‘dad’ while making a special request, highlighting the joys and challenges of being a girl dad.
Bolanle has often expressed the deep bond he shares with his children. On his 45th birthday in May, he revealed that his son stayed up late to celebrate him, calling him the best dad in the world and praising his dedication, drive, and passion.
In 2024, he gifted his son a Corvette Sports car for his 18th birthday, sharing a video on Instagram of Keyo marveling at the car. Despite the luxury, Bolanle made it clear that material gifts are secondary to his role as a father.
His commitment extends beyond special moments. During his support for Do2dtun’s custody battle, Bolanle reflected on putting his life and career in Nigeria on hold to fight for his children in America. He credits his son for helping him navigate those challenging times with constant reminders of love and presence.
Bolanle, separated from his wife and mother of his two kids since September 2023, has accepted the end of his marriage. He emphasized that their relationship, though over, was meaningful and not a mistake. His focus now remains on nurturing and being fully present for his children.
