African businesses must embrace stronger innovation, sharper leadership, and greater adaptability if they hope to grow sustainably, say the organisers of the Africa Business & Enterprise Conference & Awards 2026.
The two-day event, themed “Empowering Business through Innovation and Leadership for Sustainable Growth,” will explore how companies across the continent can tackle structural challenges and build more resilient enterprises.
Organised by Marketing Space Magazine, the conference is set for October 2, 2026, in Lagos. Dr Olufemi Olaiya, Group Chief Executive Officer of JESCHRIL Group, will deliver the keynote address. His experience across renewable energy, digital technology, agribusiness, and media is expected to give delegates practical insights into operating in emerging markets.
Publisher Ayobami Lukman-Ishau said the choice of keynote speaker reflects the summit’s focus on real-world business realities. Olaiya, who holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Mergers and Acquisitions, is affiliated with the Institute of Directors, the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, and the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria.
Policymakers, investors, corporate leaders, and innovators are expected to converge at the event to discuss drivers of continental trade and strategies for scaling businesses across Africa.
