CSCS Cuts Retail Lien Fees, Waives Family Transfer Charges

Zoyols News

CSCS has lowered several fees in a fresh pricing review aimed at easing costs for retail investors and brokers.

Retail lien fees have been halved to 0.125 percent for clients with holdings below N100 million. Transfers of securities between immediate family members, including spouses, parents, children, and siblings, will now be free.

Charges for creating or renewing broker codes, as well as eligibility fees for brokers on the NGX, NASD, and LCFE platforms, have also been removed.

The changes follow an earlier fee adjustment earlier in the year and form part of efforts to lower transaction costs, encourage wider participation, and support market liquidity.
