Nigerian music star Davido has been confirmed as one of the headline performers for the Los Angeles edition of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series.
The announcement was made by FIFA on Tuesday as preparations continue to gather momentum ahead of the highly anticipated global football tournament.
Davido is set to entertain fans during the special concert scheduled for June 10, bringing his signature energy and stage presence to one of the tournament’s major pre event celebrations. He will share the stage with Major Lazer, the globally acclaimed music project led by Diplo, while more performers are expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
The concert forms part of an unprecedented synchronized live entertainment series that will connect the three host nations of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, namely Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The initiative is designed to celebrate the spirit of football while showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the participating countries.
