Nigerian media personality Frank Edoho has finally reacted to the controversy surrounding the collapse of his marriage to Sandra Edoho, describing the allegations against him as completely false.
The television host shared a statement on his Instagram page, where he addressed the growing public attention surrounding the situation. According to him, the accusations being circulated about him are untrue, and he has decided to handle the matter through legal means instead of engaging in online drama.
Frank expressed disappointment that several people who had no connection to the marital crisis were dragged into the controversy. He apologised to those whose names and privacy became part of the public conversation because of the ongoing situation.
He also extended an apology to his sponsors, business partners, associates, and supporters who may have been affected by the negative publicity surrounding the matter.
In his statement, Frank explained that the situation has been emotionally difficult, especially for his children. He appealed to the public to respect their privacy and allow the legal process already in motion to take its course without unnecessary interference.
Part of his statement read, “Over the past few days, several grave allegations have been made concerning my person, and they are false. I have chosen to address these matters through the appropriate legal channels. I am deeply saddened that innocent individuals with no connection to these issues have had their names and privacy dragged into public discourse, and for that, I sincerely apologise.
“I also apologise to my sponsors, brand partners, collaborators, professional associates, and everyone whose trust and goodwill may have been affected by the unfortunate publicity surrounding these events.
“This is an especially difficult period, particularly for my children, who do not deserve the weight of public intrusion. I respectfully ask that their privacy be protected while the lawful processes continue. Above all, I remain a father committed to the welfare, dignity, and protection of my children.”
The fresh statement comes days after Frank had earlier addressed the end of the marriage, saying he had emotionally accepted the situation and was now focused, peaceful, and doing well.
The controversy intensified after a leaked audio recording involving Sandra and a man identified as Chike surfaced online. In the recording, Sandra was heard discussing the difficulties in her marriage and speaking about Frank’s suspicions regarding her relationship with the singer.
According to the conversation, she claimed the marriage was already falling apart and said Frank had repeatedly questioned her about Chike.
Sandra later publicly accused Frank Edoho of serial infidelity and emotional abuse through a series of Instagram posts. She alleged that the media personality had affairs with several women, including Tega Dominic and Mbong Amata, alongside other socialites.
She further accused him of disappearing from home for days, mismanaging her finances, and allegedly bringing other women into their matrimonial home.
Another leaked voice note later emerged online in which Frank Edoho narrated how he confronted Chike over the alleged affair. In the recording, he claimed he directly questioned the singer and described him as visibly nervous during the encounter.
Frank also stated in the audio that if his wife had still meant to him what she did when they first got married, his reaction to the situation would have been far more severe.
Frank Edoho married Sandra Onyenucheya after the end of his first marriage. The couple spent more than a decade together and had two children during the union.
With both marriages, the television personality is now a father of five children.
At the peak of the marital crisis, reports also circulated online alleging that Sandra had been involved with a popular singer, further fueling public attention around the failed marriage.
