HassConsult is taking a fresh approach to residential living in Kenya by focusing on real-world connection rather than more screen time.
The developer has launched Elevate by Hass, a platform that brings fitness, wellness, entertainment, dining and community activities directly into its residential projects. Enaki Residential Resort is serving as the first major test site for the concept.
The idea comes at a time when digital tools keep people constantly online. While this has made staying in touch easier, it has also left many feeling more isolated in their daily lives. HassConsult is responding by creating physical spaces and programmes designed to encourage face-to-face interaction among residents.
Kenya’s high social media usage and rising reports of loneliness among workers have helped shape the project. The developer is looking to turn the focus back to shared experiences through dedicated wellness studios, community events and social hubs within its developments.
At Enaki Town, this is already visible. A movement studio offers ongoing fitness and wellness sessions run by specialists, while Artcaffe runs a marketplace that hosts everything from high teas and children’s activities to cultural festivals.
