Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have claimed responsibility for fresh strikes targeting Bahrain and Oman, saying the operations hit key military installations and radar systems in both Gulf nations.
According to a statement released by the Guards and obtained by Zoyols News, the attacks were directed at United States military facilities and infrastructure located in Juffair, Bahrain. The group alleged that the strikes triggered fires that were still burning at the targeted locations.
The statement also claimed that the naval arm of the Revolutionary Guards carried out successful operations in Oman, where it said it destroyed a long range airborne FPS radar system as well as a ship detection radar.
The Guards described the attacks as part of their ongoing military operations, maintaining that the targeted radar systems in the Sultanate of Oman had been completely destroyed.
