Actress, entrepreneur and former beauty queen Jennifer Ephraim has taken another step in her career, this time as a published author on Amazon. Her book, Dilemma Of The Nigerian Girl Child, first released in 2023, is now listed on the Amazon store.
She shared the news on Instagram and called it the fulfilment of a long-held dream. “What a way to start the new month as the book, ‘Dilemma Of The Nigerian Girl Child’ is now available on the Amazon store,” she wrote. “The book sells at a very affordable price.”
The work looks at the social and cultural pressures young Nigerian girls face, from schooling and identity to what society expects of them and how they find their voice. For Jennifer, putting it out there is personal, not just another credit. Days earlier, while marking her birthday on 28 August, she posted that she was stepping into a new chapter with grace, confidence and gratitude.
Known on screen and in business, she has said writing was always on her vision board. With this Amazon listing, her work now reaches readers well beyond film.
