Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has backed Spain to emerge victorious over Argentina in the World Cup final, saying the European side has what it takes to lift the trophy.
Sharing his prediction on his official X account on Sunday, the minister expressed confidence that Spain would come out on top based on their style of play and overall quality.
According to Keyamo, football followers with a deep understanding of the game should have little difficulty predicting a Spanish victory in the highly anticipated final.
He, however, admitted that Argentina still possesses one player capable of changing the course of the match.
In his words, “Anyone who knows football very well should easily predict that Spain will beat Argentina today to win the World Cup.”
He added that the only factor that could upset that prediction would be an extraordinary display from Argentina captain Lionel Messi, whose ability to produce decisive moments remains unmatched.
“Unless there is an exceptional moment of magic by one ‘little boy from Rosario’ called Lionel Messi,” he wrote.
