Obi made it clear that for democracy to truly thrive, the government must respect the boundaries of opposition parties. He emphasized the importance of a level playing field, urging the current leadership to give him and his colleagues the necessary space to organize and strengthen the NDC. His message was centered on the idea that the party should be allowed to grow and structure itself without any external pressure or interference from the corridors of power.
