Leo DaSilva and Wife Mark Second Wedding Anniversary

Zoyols News

Big Brother Naija star Leo DaSilva and his wife, Maryam, are marking their second wedding anniversary, sharing moments of gratitude and affection as they reflect on their journey together.

Maryam took to social media to celebrate the milestone, posting a loved up photo of the couple and expressing joy over two years of marriage. In her message, she fondly referred to her husband as her “big Lion” while wishing them both a happy anniversary. Her post carried a warm and playful tone as she wrote that she had been married for two years.

Leo also marked the occasion with a short but heartfelt note, expressing appreciation for their journey so far and acknowledging what he described as divine grace in their marriage. His message simply reflected gratitude and calm celebration of the moment.

The couple first drew public attention around November 2023 when they held their wedding introduction in Kaduna. Images and clips from the ceremony circulated widely online, drawing reactions due to cultural and religious discussions sparked by the pairing and the setting of the event.

Over time, Leo has remained vocal on relationship topics, often sharing his views on marriage and modern relationships. In earlier comments, he suggested that many breakups happen because people lack the courage to end relationships directly, noting that what people see on social media often hides the effort couples make behind the scenes.

Maryam has also not shied away from online conversations. In a past reaction to singer 2Baba’s marital issues, she expressed strong opinions that sparked further debate among social media users.

Leo himself has previously advised that people should be intentional when choosing partners, stressing that compatibility and understanding are important foundations for marriage. He has also expressed concern about misplaced admiration in some relationships, encouraging people to be realistic in their expectations.

In another discussion, he criticised the way some Christians describe their pastors, describing it as something that could be a warning sign in certain situations.

Despite the public attention around their views and lifestyle, the couple’s latest celebration reflects a more personal side of their journey, marked by appreciation, shared memories, and a quiet acknowledgment of how far they have come together.
