Mo Bimpe, Lateef Adedimeji Host Grand Thanksgiving for Triplets

Zoyols News

Popular Nollywood couple, Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Mo Bimpe, turned the page on a deeply personal chapter of their lives this Wednesday, August 12, 2026. After enduring years of public scrutiny and the silent ache of childlessness, the pair hosted an exquisite thanksgiving celebration in honor of their newborn triplet sons.

The venue was transformed into a scene of pure elegance, featuring a sophisticated backdrop for portraits and a striking display of food and drinks enhanced by dramatic dry-ice fog effects. It was a jubilant atmosphere that drew an elite crowd of industry titans and close friends. Among the distinguished guests spotted at the event were Chief (Mrs.) Shade Okoya alongside her son, Subomi, as well as Nollywood veterans Yinka Quadri, Madam Saje, and Olaiya Igwe.

The couple made sure to dress for the significance of the day. Lateef cut a regal figure in a deep burgundy Agbada, intricately detailed with off-white geometric embroidery. He elevated the traditional ensemble with layers of classic coral beads around his neck and wrists, grounding the look with a symbolic wooden staff topped with a lion carving.

Mo Bimpe was equally radiant, stepping out in a custom red, off-the-shoulder gown. The dress was a masterclass in texture, featuring beaded grid-lace embellished with a vibrant explosion of pink, blue, and white floral appliques. A structured drape at her waist, styled into an oversized side bow, added a modern flair to the piece. She completed her ensemble with a perfectly tied red gele, a sleek velvet drawstring bag, and timeless silver jewelry.

Reflecting on the journey that brought them to this moment, Adedimeji shared a moving sentiment about their resilience. He expressed profound gratitude to God, acknowledging that the path to parenthood had been fraught with painful stigma and public mockery. According to shared notes on social media tracked by Zoyols News, the couple chose to hold onto hope throughout the darkest periods of waiting, silencing the noise of hurtful assumptions with their faith.

This grand celebration follows the couple’s private naming ceremony held back in May 2026. That intimate gathering, which took place at their home in Lekki, Lagos, served as the initial introduction of their identical triplet boys to their inner circle of family and industry peers.
