Motilola Akinlami and Kunle Afod Finally End 6-Year Feud ( Video)

Zoyols News

Popular Nollywood actress Motilola Akinlami has officially ended her long-standing feud with her former mentor and producer, Kunle Afod. This reconciliation comes after a public fallout that made headlines and kept the two apart for six years. The rift, which became quite heated back in 2024, saw Motilola openly accusing Afod of blacklisting her in the industry following a disagreement rooted in personal tensions involving his wife.

During a recent sit-down with actor Tony Montana, Motilola opened up about the emotional toll the conflict took on her. She admitted that the situation was deeply painful because of the immense respect she once held for her boss. According to reports gathered, the actress expressed regret that the dispute ever reached the point where she felt forced to take her grievances to social media to air her frustrations and call out names.

The breakthrough in their relationship didn’t happen in isolation, as several prominent figures in the Yoruba movie industry stepped in to broker peace. Motilola specifically praised actor Femi Adebayo for his role as a peacemaker, describing him as a bridge-builder who helped both parties move past their differences. She also extended her gratitude to Bayo Tijani and other veteran colleagues who intervened to ensure the two could work together in harmony once again.

While the actress did not hide how much she had been hurt by the incident, she confirmed that the issue is now fully resolved. With the help of these mediators, she has chosen to let go of the past and embrace a fresh start with Kunle Afod, much to the relief of fans who have followed the drama over the years.
