Sammy Riches, the husband of Nollywood actress Nkiru Sylvanus, has warned that anyone spreading false claims about their marriage should be prepared to face legal action.
His reaction followed the circulation of photos and videos showing the actress on a movie set. The images sparked several online comments, with some social media users making negative remarks about her appearance.
Some of the posts went further by suggesting that her looks reflected problems in her marriage. Others shared one of her photos alongside the caption, “Cry 4 help,” fueling speculation about her personal life.
Addressing the claims in a video, Sammy Riches dismissed the rumours and described the circulating image as one that did not accurately represent his wife’s appearance.
He said he could choose to ignore the misleading photo and the comments that accompanied it, but stressed that he would not remain silent when people make false and damaging statements about his marriage.
According to him, anyone who publishes or spreads defamatory captions or misleading claims about his relationship with the actress should expect legal consequences, as he is prepared to pursue the matter through the appropriate legal channels.
