Nollywood Star Olayinka Solomon Celebrates Birth of Her 5th Son

Zoyols News

The Nollywood community is buzzing with joy as popular actress Olayinka Solomon celebrates the arrival of her fifth child, a baby boy. The movie star, who is well-known for her roles on screen and her previous connection with actor Ibrahim Chatta, took to social media to share the exciting news. Through a touching video documenting her pregnancy journey, she revealed that her family is now home to five amazing sons, expressing deep gratitude to God for what she described as the perfect completion of her beautiful family.

The announcement sparked an immediate wave of love from her colleagues in the industry. Big names like Mide Martins, Adeniyi Johnson, and Debbie Shokoya were among the first to flood her page with warm wishes. Friends and fellow actors such as Bimpe Akintunde and Alesh Sanni also joined the celebration, with many jokingly referring to her as the ultimate “mummy boys.” The outpouring of support highlights the close-knit nature of the Yoruba movie circle when one of their own hits such a significant milestone.

This latest addition comes just over a year after Olayinka and her husband, Olasunkanmi Mabinu Ori, welcomed another son in early 2025. Reports recalls how the couple shared their immense happiness at the time, calling their child a “tiny miracle” that brought endless joy to their household. Olayinka has often been vocal about the unwavering support she receives from her husband and her older sons, credited them with making her pregnancy journeys smooth and manageable.

Life in the United States seems to have treated the actress well, a transition she largely attributes to her husband’s care. In several heartfelt tributes, she has described Olasunkanmi as her rock and guide, thanking him for providing a “soft landing” when she relocated. Her public declarations of love often include promises to choose him over and over again, reflecting a solid partnership that has clearly anchored her through the changes in her life and career.

Beyond her personal celebrations, Olayinka has also used her platform to offer words of encouragement to other women, particularly single mothers. She once candidly shared that true happiness isn’t easily found when raising children from different fathers, pointing out that while “sperm donors” are common, real fathers who stay and provide are rare. Her journey from those challenges to her current state of “blessed beyond words” continues to resonate with many of her followers who see her as a symbol of strength and renewal.
