Okey Bakassi has marked 25 years of marriage to his wife Zizi with an emotional tribute and a collection of old photos and videos.
The comedian shared how the two first met in 1988, became close through letters, but later drifted apart while chasing higher education. Destiny eventually brought them back together, and they got married on September 1, 2001, in Port Harcourt, the same city where their story began.
In his note, Bakassi expressed gratitude for his wife’s love, patience, and sacrifices over the years. He said they are not trying to break any records but simply living their lives with love, trust, and humility. God has blessed them with three children and kept them in good health, he added.
Bakassi ended his message by asking his wife to do another 25 years and beyond with him.
