Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux’s son, Rakeem Mkambala, had plenty to celebrate as he marked his first birthday and secured his first endorsement deal.
Priscilla shared a video of the young star promoting the brand, proudly revealing that he was already making her proud. “Made by mama, now making mama proud,” she wrote.
The announcement drew congratulatory messages from family, friends and fans, including Iyabo Ojo, Juma Jux, Funke Etti, Susan Peters and Layole Oyatogun. Many described Rakeem as the youngest and cutest brand ambassador, while others celebrated him as a rising star.
Juma Jux also joined in the celebration, noting that his son had secured a major deal and would be honoured with a big birthday party on the 29th.
The endorsement comes after Priscilla herself signed her first deal shortly after her wedding last year. She described the achievement as one of life’s unexpected surprises, saying she had moved from signing her marriage certificate to signing a deal with a technology company.
She later became a brand ambassador for luxury jewellery company BOZ Diamonds, prompting Iyabo Ojo to celebrate her as a rare and radiant diamond. Iyabo has continued to publicly support her daughter, including celebrating her award at the 2024 Eloy Awards.
In 2024, the proud mother also highlighted Priscilla’s achievements in entertainment, fashion and business, expressing admiration for how far she had come.
