The message was delivered directly by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a high-level meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of an Asian regional summit in Manila. Lavrov explicitly highlighted the dangers of ongoing arms transfers, describing the current trajectory of Western military support as entirely unacceptable to the Kremlin.
During the exchange, Lavrov took aim at European nations, accusing them of pursuing a confrontational strategy aimed at inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.
