Wedding Bells? Destiny Etiko’s Partner Hints at 2026 Date

Zoyols Blog

Popular Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko is once again at the center of social media conversations, but this time, the buzz is all about her romantic life. Her alleged partner, Nigerian singer Excess Van, has finally addressed the rumors surrounding their relationship with a reveal that has many fans reaching for their wedding guest attire.

The excitement began when Destiny shared a series of romantic photos of herself and the singer, hinting that her Valentine’s celebration had arrived a bit early this year. Not long after, Excess Van took to his Instagram story to share a cozy photo of the pair with a caption that dropped a massive hint about their future together. He simply wrote, “Be our guest,” followed by a ring emoji and the year 2026, leading many to believe that wedding bells are officially on the horizon.

Destiny is no stranger to making headlines during the season of love. She celebrated Valentine’s Day last year in a very grand way by adding a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG to her impressive car collection. Despite being on crutches at the time, her excitement was clear as she shared the moment her luxury new whip was delivered to her home.

However, her journey hasn’t been without its share of controversy. Last year, fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert made some pointed accusations, claiming Destiny had a habit of taking partners belonging to her colleagues. She specifically mentioned an ex-boyfriend from Benin who drove a Benz, alleging that Destiny had “snatched” him. At the time, Destiny chose to stay above the fray, simply posting photos with her own white Mercedes and reminding her followers that her car is her true “happy place.”

The actress has also had to fight off persistent rumors regarding how she funds her lavish lifestyle. In 2024, she felt the need to go on an Instagram Live session to debunk claims that the husband of veteran actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde had purchased a car for her. During the broadcast, she maintained that her successes are the result of her own hard work and that she has never relied on any man for her achievements.

These latest rumors follow a previous high-profile scandal involving married businessman Jack Rich, the CEO of Belema Oil. At the time, both Destiny and the businessman flatly denied the allegations, with Jack Rich stating he had never even met the actress. Now, with Excess Van seemingly confirming their romance and hinting at a 2026 wedding, it appears Destiny is ready to turn the page and focus on a new, much more public chapter of her life.
