2baba recently posted a touching clip on Instagram showing him spending quality time with four of his children. The legendary singer appeared relaxed and joyful alongside his daughters with Annie Idibia and his sons from his earlier relationship with Sunmbo Adeoye. In the accompanying note, he reflected on what truly matters, writing that while fame fills the arena, family fills the soul.
The moment came after years of public attention on his personal life. Last year during his son Zion’s graduation ceremony with Sunmbo, the children gently ribbed their father about still using a Samsung phone instead of switching to an iPhone. Another recent video captured him with all four of his sons from two different relationships for what looked like the first time in one setting, including the two boys who live overseas with their mother Pero Adeniyi and rarely appear together with the others.
Earlier footage from a boat outing showed 2baba and his current partner Natasha surrounded by the children from his previous relationships. Natasha was seen looking after the youngsters warmly. Not long ago, the singer pushed back against rumours of a reunion with his former wife Annie. Annie herself addressed the speculation on her Snapchat, stressing that she remains single, does not live in his house, and is focused on raising their daughters and her own career.
The couple had separated in January the previous year. 2baba later began a relationship with Edo state lawmaker Natasha Osawaru and the pair held a quiet traditional wedding on 25 July 2025 attended only by close family. Clips from the ceremony showed the singer and his bride receiving blessings, with one elder wishing that this union would be his last. The following November they welcomed their first child together, though the couple kept the baby’s gender private.
In January they held the child’s dedication at a Catholic church, where photos showed the three of them along with 2baba’s mother. During a December concert the singer took time to apologise to the public, asking Nigerians to forgive him and his family and not to hold any anger against them.
