Nigeria’s Super Eagles will pocket $15,000 for finishing third at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, following their semi-final exit. The team had fallen 4-2 on penalties to host nation Morocco, the Atlas Lions, but still secured a strong showing in the tournament.
According to Zoyols Blog, the players have already received all their win bonuses, with the third-place reward being the final payment pending. Adding to the celebration, billionaire businessman Abdul Samad Rabiu fulfilled his earlier pledge, awarding the team an additional $500,000 in recognition of their performance.
With the tournament concluded, the Super Eagles have now returned to their clubs, wrapping up a campaign marked by resilience and determination on the continental stage.
