AIICO Cautions Public Against Former Agent’s Transactions

Zoyols News

AIICO Insurance has warned the public against dealing with its former agent, Mr. Obinna Adolphus Nwosu.

The company said it ended Nwosu’s appointment some time ago and had already published a notice in national newspapers in June 2025, cautioning customers and the public not to transact any business with him on its behalf.

Despite the public notice, AIICO said Nwosu has continued to spread false and misleading claims about the company through various channels. It described the allegations as baseless and said they have the potential to cause unnecessary concern among its customers and stakeholders.

Rather than respond publicly, the company stated that it has filed a defamation suit against Nwosu at the Lagos State High Court and will pursue the matter through proper legal channels.
