Arsenal’s Gabriel Out with Thigh Injury While on Brazil Duty

Arsenal defender Gabriel has been ruled out with a muscle injury in his right thigh, the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) confirmed on Sunday. The 27-year-old was forced off during a friendly against Senegal at Arsenal’s North London stadium.

Gabriel, who has featured in every Premier League match for the league leaders this season, will now miss Brazil’s upcoming friendly against Tunisia in Lille on Tuesday.

The CBF statement did not indicate how long the defender is expected to be sidelined, leaving Arsenal and fans waiting for further updates on his recovery.
