Popular Nigerian social media personality David Obadiah Adedolapo, widely known as Baddy of Lagos, has successfully undergone the second phase of corrective surgery on his left leg as part of efforts to treat Blount’s disease, a condition he has battled for years.
The operation was carried out on June 16, 2026, at Saudi German Hospital in Cairo, Egypt. The procedure marks another important step in his journey toward improved mobility after earlier surgeries performed during childhood did not completely correct the condition.
The latest surgery became possible through the generosity of supporters who once again rallied around him. A fresh fundraising campaign coordinated by Sir Dickson attracted widespread attention online and raised more than ₦19 million to cover the medical expenses.
The overwhelming support mirrored a similar campaign held last year, which funded surgery on his right leg. That effort drew contributions from numerous well known Nigerians, including Afrobeats superstar Davido, whose support helped bring national attention to Baddy’s medical needs.
Baddy is currently recovering from the operation and remains under medical care as he begins the next stage of his treatment. His mother has been by his side throughout the process, offering support as he prepares for months of rehabilitation and recovery.
Expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the fundraising effort, Baddy thanked supporters for helping him move closer to achieving a life changing transformation. Across social media, many well wishers have continued to celebrate the successful surgery and the progress being made toward correcting his condition.
