Former Big Brother Naija housemate Queen Mercy Atang has shared an emotional message on social media, expressing her desire to become extremely wealthy so she can change the lives of people facing hardship.
In a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, the reality television star and entrepreneur admitted that she has been deeply affected by the suffering of many people, especially vulnerable children and families struggling to survive.
Queen said she often wishes she had enough financial resources and influence to ensure that everyone could at least enjoy the basic necessities of life. According to her, she is not asking for wealth so people can become rich, but so they can live comfortably with access to decent housing, nutritious food, quality education, healthcare and other essential needs.
She revealed that scenes of children being rescued from floodwaters and families losing everything they own leave her emotionally overwhelmed and heartbroken.
Turning to God in prayer, Queen pleaded for extraordinary wealth, explaining that her desire is not driven by luxury or social status. Instead, she hopes to use her blessings to ease the burdens of others, restore hope and put smiles on the faces of those in need.
Her emotional message comes during a period of remarkable personal and professional growth. Just last month, Queen celebrated impressive milestones on social media after revealing that her business page had surpassed 5.4 million views, while her personal page recorded more than 20 million views.
She thanked her supporters for helping to increase the visibility of her business and acknowledged their continued encouragement throughout her journey.
The achievement came shortly after she secured a 70 million naira endorsement agreement with Blord Group, further strengthening her position as one of the fast growing influencers attracting major commercial partnerships in Nigeria.
Queen also made headlines during the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards held on May 9. She arrived wearing a striking outfit created by Toyin Lawani of Tiannah’s Empire.
The unique design reportedly featured about 500 loaves of bread and was created to promote Queen’s bakery brand, Swit Cakes and Desserts. The outfit quickly became one of the most talked about moments from the event and generated widespread conversations across social media.
Zoyols News gathered that the attention extended beyond Nigeria, with international media also highlighting the unusual fashion statement. The outfit later attracted recognition from Guinness World Records, which announced it would review the creation.
Following the awards ceremony, Queen penned an appreciation message to Africa Magic and MultiChoice, thanking both organisations for giving her a platform to showcase her brand. She also encouraged the organisers to consider introducing a special event dedicated to celebrating Nigerian entrepreneurs and their innovations.

She said she had worked tirelessly over the years to achieve success and had always dreamed of a life filled with recognition and financial success.
