Nigerian tech entrepreneur and social media personality Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has revealed that his recent online clash with activist and influencer Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, was intentionally orchestrated.
Blord explained that the heated exchanges and controversies were part of a coordinated effort to promote the Ratel app and generate online engagement. He emphasized that the posts, arguments, and public tension were carefully planned, with both parties agreeing to work together to create buzz and attract attention to their platforms.
He added that the recently announced “Blunt Gadget Rally” was also tied to the same publicity strategy, insisting the online drama was never a personal conflict but a calculated move to amplify visibility.
The admission comes after weeks of intense social media back-and-forth between the two, which had many users believing the feud was genuine. Blord’s revelation has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some expressing frustration at being “played” while others praised the move as smart marketing in today’s attention-driven digital landscape.
As of now, VeryDarkMan and the Ratel platform have not released a separate statement regarding Blord’s claims.
