The National Chairman of Phase 2 beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Ibena Rufus Salvation, has sounded a stern warning that fraudsters will no longer be tolerated in the programme. He urged individuals parading themselves as beneficiaries, particularly those claiming to be Itsekiri graduates of Novena University, to return to their sponsors and contractors who enlisted them illegally.
According to Salvation, genuine beneficiaries fully support Chief Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro’s ongoing reforms aimed at cleaning up the system. The era of using fake names and non-beneficiaries to siphon funds from PAP is over, and the programme will no longer operate as usual. Salvation praised the PAP Administrator for redirecting the programme to its original beneficiaries who deserve it.
The ongoing reforms have restored hope among genuine ex-agitators who were previously sidelined due to fraudulent practices. Salvation emphasized that the programme is for real beneficiaries only and that those who hijacked the system for personal gains have no place in PAP anymore.
“We fully support Dr. Otuaro’s efforts to block all loopholes that people were using to siphon funds,” Salvation said. “This is the right step, and we’re proud of his leadership in restoring the programme to its true beneficiaries.”
Salvation’s message to the fake Itsekiri graduates of Novena University was clear: return to your fake sponsors and contractors, as the Amnesty Programme is not for you. The programme’s reform process is bringing justice to genuine beneficiaries, and those who engaged in fraudulent practices will face the consequences.
