Nollywood actress and content creator Kiekie has shed light on why she rarely shares glimpses of her husband online. The mother of one emphasized that her choice is intentional, reflecting how she balances her public presence with her private life.
Speaking with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Kiekie clarified that she isn’t hiding her husband from the public. Rather, she prefers to keep her Instagram focused on her work, including comedy skits, brand partnerships, and professional projects. Her husband doesn’t participate in her online ventures, so she sees no reason to feature him on the platform.
“I’m not hiding my husband, I just don’t feel the need to put him on Instagram. My Instagram is my business page, and my husband is not part of my business,” she explained.
Kiekie tied the knot with Shonaola Ilori in February 2020, and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in November 2022. Known for her lively comedy skits, fashion content, and acting, Kiekie has become one of Nigeria’s most recognized online entertainers, keeping her personal life intentionally private while thriving professionally.
