Prestige Banking close Day 2 at the top of the Red Group on 53 points. Diaspora Banking sit just behind on 47.

In the Blue Group, Akeem Mustafa of Aspire posted his second win, blanking Dominic Icha of Zeca 9-0. Emmanuel Anikibe of Zeca answered with a 6-3 victory over Aspire’s Azu Okonkwo. Aspire lead that group on 51 points, with Zeca on 46.

Round robin play finishes Wednesday at Ikoyi Club. The top two sides from each group go through to the semifinal knockout. Tennis section chairman Victor Onyenkpa said the event should only grow stronger through the later rounds and praised the strong crowd that turned out on Tuesday.
