Kogi @35: Anyebe Calls for Youth Unity and Patriotism

Kogi State Youth Commissioner, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, has called on young people in the state to stay united and patriotic as Kogi marks its 35th anniversary.

Speaking in a goodwill message, Anyebe described the anniversary as a time to reflect on the state’s journey, its achievements, challenges and future goals. He noted that the milestone highlights Kogi’s identity, cultural diversity and the efforts of past leaders, traditional institutions and citizens in building the state.

Anyebe stressed that Kogi’s progress depends on its young population working together in peace and directing their energy towards productive activities. He said the government is focused on empowering youths through skills development, sports and other opportunities that help them contribute to the state’s economy.

The commissioner commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for prioritising youth empowerment, peace and inclusive development. He urged all citizens, especially the youth, to take responsibility for the state’s advancement and expressed confidence that Kogi will continue to grow in peace and shared prosperity.
