Lizzy Anjorin Breaks Silence: The Truth About My Rumored Arrest

Zoyols Blog

Popular Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has finally broken her silence regarding the heavy rumors circulating online that she was arrested over a defamation of character case. The social media space has been buzzing with claims that the actress was picked up following a legal petition reportedly filed by fellow industry stars Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and Dayo Amusa.

The news gained traction after an associate of Iyabo Ojo, the social media influencer known as Esabod, took to Instagram to announce the alleged development. According to those claims, Anjorin was supposedly detained and remanded at the Alagbon Police Station in Lagos, with further suggestions that her bail conditions would not be addressed until the start of the week.

However, in a sharp rebuttal shared on Sunday evening, Anjorin dismissed the entire story as a fabrication. Speaking directly to her fans and the general public via her Instagram page, she cautioned against believing everything seen on social media. She specifically named her detractors, telling her followers that anyone who chooses to believe the narratives pushed by Esabod and Iyabo Ojo does so at their own peril.

The actress appeared unfazed by the reports, suggesting that the claims were part of an ongoing campaign to tarnish her image. This latest development adds another layer to the long-standing and highly publicized friction between these prominent figures in the Yoruba movie industry.

While the rumors of her being behind bars spread like wildfire, Anjorin’s active presence on her digital platforms suggests she is very much a free woman. The situation remains a hot topic among fans who have been following the legal and personal battles between these actresses for months.
