Fast rising Nollywood actor Sam Sunny has shared his thoughts on the ongoing controversy involving singer Chike, media personality Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, saying public scandals can badly damage a celebrity’s image.
Reacting through his social media page, the actor spoke about the dangers entertainers face when their private lives become topics of public discussion online. According to him, situations involving alleged romantic affairs and social media allegations rarely end positively for celebrities, whether the claims are true or false.
The movie star explained that being dragged into conversations about personal relationships, especially issues linked to women and alleged sexual affairs, is something he never hopes to experience in his career.
Sam Sunny stated that for entertainers such as actors, musicians and comedians, one of the worst situations is having one’s private life constantly dissected by the public. He added that what many people mistake for online support or attention can quickly become damaging to a celebrity’s reputation.
The actor also expressed concern about women making public comments about a celebrity’s alleged romantic or sexual activities on social media, saying such attention often creates more harm than good.
According to him, he would never want to be associated with that kind of controversy, regardless of whether the claims are fabricated or genuine. He described such situations as a hidden curse disguised as fame or public admiration.
His comments come amid growing online discussions surrounding Chike and reports linking the singer to Sandra Edoho, the estranged wife of Frank Edoho.
