Viral Clip of Mentally Unstable Man Praising Davido Sparks Buzz

Zoyols News

Social media users have been buzzing over a viral video showing a mentally unstable man recognising and paying respect to Afrobeats superstar Davido in an emotional way.

The clip, which surfaced on TikTok through user Decent Sinner101, captured the man kneeling beside a roadside frame carrying Davido’s image. The unusual moment quickly grabbed attention online and sparked a wave of reactions from fans of the singer, especially members of the popular 30BG fanbase.

Many supporters flooded the comment section with excitement and humorous remarks, proudly celebrating Davido’s influence and popularity. Some fans joked that rival supporters would likely dismiss the viral moment as artificial intelligence generated content, while others described the singer as someone loved by people from all walks of life.

The video has once again highlighted the strong connection Davido enjoys with his fans, both in Nigeria and abroad. Over the years, the award winning singer has continued to attract passionate supporters wherever he appears.

Recently, another touching moment involving Davido made rounds online after a young boy approached him during an event. The singer initially appeared not to notice the child as he greeted other guests, but the determined boy held tightly to him and followed him around until Davido finally acknowledged him with a warm embrace.

During Paris Fashion Week last year, fans also crowded around the singer on the streets of Paris after spotting him. Videos from the outing showed Davido interacting freely with supporters who were visibly thrilled to see him in person.

Davido has also become known for entertaining unusual requests from fans online. At one point, he shared a direct message from a supporter who jokingly advised him to fly a commercial aircraft for one month just to humble other artistes. The singer reacted with laughter emojis, leaving many amused.

Not every fan encounter has gone smoothly, however. During a visit to Warri last year, the singer was unexpectedly slapped on the head by an overexcited fan while being escorted through a crowd by security operatives. The incident quickly went viral and generated mixed reactions online.

Another dramatic moment occurred during an outing with his daughter, Imade Adeleke, when a die hard supporter tightly grabbed the singer’s leg in excitement and nearly dragged him to the ground before security intervened.

Despite the controversies and chaotic fan moments, Davido has remained confident about his place in the entertainment industry. During an interaction with a Saudi Arabian prince sometime ago, the singer boldly introduced himself as the “King of Nigeria” while exchanging contacts and taking photos.

The Grammy nominated artiste has also repeatedly spoken about criticism from rivals and doubters. In one of his social media posts, Davido reflected on his music journey and stated that since entering the industry, he has remained impossible to ignore. He added that although many people try to discredit him, God continues to stand by him and elevate his career.

The singer also addressed critics who once mocked him for not securing a Grammy nomination. According to Davido, he eventually achieved that milestone and even more, proving that persistence and faith can silence doubters over time.
