Wesley University in Ondo has broadened its academic offerings with new courses in engineering, health sciences, management, social sciences and other professional fields.
The university is adding a Faculty of Engineering that will begin lectures in September 2026. The faculty will run programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering. The move is expected to open more pathways for students in technology and innovation.
It has also expanded its health sciences programmes to include Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, Optometry, Health Information Management, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Community Health and Public Health.
Other programmes being strengthened include Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, International Relations and Law. Postgraduate studies have also been extended, with options for Postgraduate Diploma, MBA, MPA, M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in various fields.
The university is backing these academic additions with new infrastructure. Among the facilities are a purpose-built Law Building and a new Anatomy Laboratory, while the Ecumenical Centre has been upgraded to support academic and institutional activities.
