Stakeholders in Nigeria’s property sector are set to gather in Abuja for the 2026 Abuja Real Estate Fest, where investment opportunities, market trends and challenges affecting the industry will take centre stage.
The event, organised by Eventhive, will bring together investors, property developers, financiers, architects, construction firms, real estate professionals, technology companies, policymakers and regulators.
The conference will be held under the theme, “Investing, Developing and Transforming Nigeria’s Real Estate Capital,” with a strong focus on the opportunities emerging across the Federal Capital Territory.
Discussions will examine changing demand in Abuja’s property market, as well as the challenges surrounding funding, regulation, infrastructure and property development.
The organisers also plan to look at the changing shape of Nigeria’s real estate market, particularly the growth of emerging districts, satellite towns and secondary cities. Population growth, improved infrastructure and rising economic activity in these areas are creating new corridors for property investment.
Income generating properties will also receive attention, including build to rent housing, serviced apartments, retail spaces, logistics facilities and other specialised assets. Investors are increasingly looking beyond property value increases and towards developments capable of generating steady income.
Other areas expected to feature include digital infrastructure, data centres, healthcare, education, industrial property, logistics, entertainment and specialised residential developments.
According to the organisers, the discussions will also focus on the financing, regulatory, operational and infrastructure conditions needed to support the development of these property segments on a larger scale.
Eventhive Chief Executive Officer Jamiu Ijaodola said Abuja’s rapid growth was creating fresh demand across several areas of the property market.
He said the festival was designed to bring together the key players driving the city’s development to discuss emerging opportunities, identify obstacles and consider practical steps that could support further growth.
The 2026 edition will feature conferences, exhibitions, property showcases and investor engagements, while providing opportunities for professionals and other stakeholders to connect and explore potential business partnerships.
